Transfer in a Domain to Thamara
When you transfer your domain to Thamara, you'll receive a new year of registration. This will replace any remaining time you had with your previous provider. Only your domain will transfer, There are special instructions when transferring .uk, .ca, .eu, .es, .se and .au domains to Thamara.
Before you start
To make sure your transfer goes smoothly, take these steps with your current provider before starting the transfer to GoDaddy.
- Unlock the domain at your current provider. This makes it possible to move the domain from the current provider over to Thamara.
- Please note that Domains that have been recently registered or transferred can only be unlocked after 60 days from the registration or the last transfer date.
- Get the authorization code for your domains. You might see this referred to as the auth code, EPP code, transfer code or transfer key. Your current provider can help you get your code.
- Verify the contact info on your domain name. The administrator's contact info may be used to stay in touch during the transfer process.
Purchase the domain transfer
Once you're prepped and ready, it's time to purchase the transfer and get the domain moved to your Thamara account.
1- Go to your dashboard and click on Domains:

2- Click on Transfer in a Domain:

3-Enter your domain name and click on order now :

4-Enter your authorization code and click confirm :

5- You will get redirected to the Domains Configuration page click on continue :

6-You will get redirected to the check out page click on checkout :

Most domain transfers take 5–7 days to complete. We'll send you an email if we're unable to process your transfer, and you can check the status of your transfer any time in your Thamara account.
