How to Set Up Your Plesk Email in Gmail (Mobile-Friendly)
To connect your Plesk email to Gmail, you just need the server settings and login info from your Plesk account.
Collect Your Email Info in Plesk
Log in to your Plesk account and find:
- Email address:
you@yourdomain.com - Password: Your email password
- Incoming server (IMAP/POP3): Usually
mail.yourdomain.com - Incoming port:
- IMAP: 993 (SSL)
- POP3: 995 (SSL)
- Outgoing server (SMTP): Usually
mail.yourdomain.com - Outgoing port:
- SSL: 465
- TLS: 587
Make sure SSL is enabled for security.
Add Account in Gmail
- Open Gmail on your phone.
- Go to Settings → Add account → Other.
- Enter your Plesk email address.
- Choose IMAP (recommended) or POP3.
Enter Server Settings
- Incoming: Enter your Plesk server, username, password, and port.
- Outgoing: Enter your SMTP server, username, password, and port.
- Tap Next to finish setup.
Verify & Test
- Send a test email from Gmail.
- Check that emails sent to your Plesk address arrive in Gmail.
Tips
- Always use IMAP to sync across devices.
- Keep your email password safe.
- Ensure your domain’s MX records in Plesk are correct.
