How to Secure Your Website with Imunify in Plesk
Overview
Imunify is a powerful security tool integrated with your Thamara hosting control panel (Plesk).
It automatically protects your website from malware, viruses, and attacks like brute force or injections — keeping your files, databases, and email accounts safe 24/7.
Access Imunify
- Log in to your Plesk Dashboard
- In the left sidebar, go to Security → ImunifyAV / Imunify360
Scan Your Website for Malware
- Click Start Scan
- Imunify will automatically check all website files (public_html and subdirectories).
- You’ll see results categorized as:
- Clean
- Infected
- Quarantined
Clean Infected Files
- If malware is found, click Clean next to the infected file.
- Imunify will safely remove or quarantine malicious code while keeping your site functional.
- You can view quarantined files under the History / Quarantine tab.
Enable Real-Time Protection
- Go to Settings → Real-time scanning
- Make sure the toggle is ON — this ensures new files are scanned automatically as they’re uploaded.
Review Security Reports
- Open History to review:
- Cleaned malware
- Blocked IPs
- Intrusion attempts
- Regularly check this section to monitor your site’s security status.
Tips by Thamara Support
- Keep your CMS (WordPress, Joomla, etc.) and plugins updated.
- Don’t ignore repeated “Infected” warnings — these may indicate outdated themes or plugins.
- Contact Thamara Support if you need a deep cleanup or manual inspection.
