 How to Protect Your Domain from Unauthorized Transfers (Registrar Lock)


  • Log in to your Thamara Client Area

◦ Go to Dashboard.

◦ Enter your registered email address and password.


  • Go to "My Domains"

◦ From the dashboard, click on Domains → My Domains.

◦ You’ll see a list of all domains associated with your account.

  • Select the Domain

◦ Find the domain you want to manage.

◦ Click on the domain name or the Manage Domain button.

  • Access the "Registrar Lock" Section & Enable Protection

◦ Click the domain name or Manage Domain button.

◦ From the left-side menu (or settings tab), select Registrar Lock.

◦ You’ll see the current status (Enabled / Disabled)

◦ Toggle the switch to Enabled to to activate protection A confirmation message will appear instantly — your domain is now protected from unauthorized transfers.


  • (Optional): Disable the Lock When You Intend to Transfer

◦ If you need to transfer your domain to another registrar:

  • Go back to the Registrar Lock section.
  • Toggle the switch to **Disabled ** to unlock the domain, Proceed with your domain transfer using your EPP/Auth code, After the transfer is complete, re-enable the lock to maintain security.
