How to Manage Databases with Webadmin in Plesk
At Thamara Cloud, you can easily manage your MySQL and MS SQL databases using Webadmin, a built-in tool within your Plesk control panel.
Webadmin lets you access, edit, import, and export your databases directly from your browser — no need to install any external software.
Database Overview
Plesk provides an intuitive Databases section where all your hosted databases are listed. From there, you can view database details, manage users, and open Webadmin (phpMyAdmin) for direct access.
Accessing MySQL Databases (phpMyAdmin)
To manage your MySQL databases through phpMyAdmin in Plesk, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Plesk control panel.
- From the left-hand menu, click on Databases.
Alternatively, you can click the Database icon on the right-hand side.
Example: Plesk → Databases

- In the Databases section, locate the database you want to manage.
- Click the phpMyAdmin icon next to your database name to open Webadmin.
Example: Plesk → Databases → phpMyAdmin

"Tip For Thamara users":
phpMyAdmin is the default Webadmin for MySQL databases on Thamara Cloud’s Plesk servers. It’s installed and ready to use by default for both Shared and Dedicated hosting environments.

Managing MS SQL Databases
Webadmin for MS SQL is not available on Windows Shared Hosting by default.
However, on Windows Dedicated Servers, it can be installed if you have a valid Plesk license that supports MS SQL management tools.
If Webadmin isn’t available, you can still manage your MS SQL databases using tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or import/export scripts manually.
