How to Create a Backup in Plesk

1-Log in to Panel.


2. Go to "Websites & Domains"


  • Select the domain you want to back up, select Back up / Restore 



3. Create a New Backup

  • Click the "Back Up" button
  • You’ll see backup options:



  • What to back up
  • Entire account (files, databases, settings)
  • Only website files
  • Only databases



4. Schedule Settings." if needed "




5. Configure the Schedule.


Choose What to Back Up

  • Website files only
  • Databases only
  • Entire account

 Save Settings

  • Click "OK" to activate the schedule


Remote Storage

  • Open Remote Storage Settings.



Choose Storage Type:




SFTP:---

Select Storage Type: SFTP

Enter Connection Details---


-Test Connection.

-Save Settings.

Click "OK"


6-Create a Backup

  • Go back to "Backup Manager"
  • Click "Back Up"
  • In Store in, select "Remote Storage (SFTP)"
  • Click "OK" to start the backup

FTP:---

 Open Remote Storage Settings


  • Click "Remote Storage Settings"

 Select Storage Type: FTP

  • Enable "Use FTP storage"

  Enter Connection Details



 Test Connection

  • Click "Test Connection" to verify credentials

 Save Settings

  • Click "OK"

  Create a Backup

  • Go back to "Backup Manager"
  • Click "Back Up"
  • In Store in, select "Remote Storage (FTP)"
  • Click "OK" to start the backup.



 

Restore a Previous Backup

  • Click on the backup date you want to restore.
  • Choose to restore all the data or selected items.
