Check Logs and Errors in Plesk

Overview:

Monitoring your website logs is one of the most effective ways to understand what’s happening behind the scenes of your server.

Through Plesk Logs, you can track every request, detect errors, identify visitor IPs, and troubleshoot performance issues — all from a single dashboard.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to access and analyze your website logs step by step using the Plesk panel.

1- Access Logs in Plesk

Log in to your Plesk Panel using your username and password, then go to Websites & Domains from the left sidebar.

Select the domain you want to view logs for, and click on Logs under the domain options to open the log view

2-Once you open the Logs section, you’ll immediately see a live stream of all your website’s activity — everything happening in real time.

From here, you can view details such as:

  • IP Address of each visitor
  • Date and Time of every request
  • Request Type (Access / Error)
  • Status Code (e.g., 200, 404, 500)
  • Source, showing whether it’s from Apache, Nginx, etc.

You can use these details to filter and analyze your logs, helping you quickly spot issues or unusual activity.
