Change Domain Nameservers

Keep your website and email up and running by ensuring the correct nameservers are set for your domain. You can change the nameservers for your domains registered with Thamara in your Thamara account. There are always at least two nameservers for a domain, and when nameservers are changed, the place where you can manage your DNS also changes.

Example: If a domain is using default Thamara nameservers, the DNS zone file will be in your Thamara account. If the domain is using nameservers for a different company, the DNS zone file will be in that company's account instead.

To change your nameservers, follow the steps below:

1- Go to your Dashboard and click on Domains:

2- Select the domain name you want to update :

3-Select what nameserver you would prefer:

  • Use default nameservers (Thamara Nameservers)

or

  • Use custom nameservers (enter below)

4- You can also use your own private nameservers. Select Private Nameservers, then add your own Nameservers and the IP and click save:

5- You can also modify a Nameservers IP from here:

6- You can also delete a Nameservers from here:
